Every download is a ZIP with one .ex4 file. Copying it into the right folder takes about two minutes, and you only do it once per tool.
Step by step
- Download and unzip. Each archive holds the .ex4 file, screenshots and a short readme.
- Open the data folder. In MetaTrader 4 choose File → Open Data Folder. A file manager window opens.
- Copy the file. Put the .ex4 file into
MQL4\Experts. - Refresh the list. Right-click Experts in the Navigator panel and choose Refresh, or restart MetaTrader.
- Drag it onto a chart. Any symbol and timeframe works — the dashboard reads all pairs on its own.
- Allow live trading. In the dialog that opens, switch to the Common tab and tick Allow live trading, so the panel reacts to your clicks. Confirm with OK.
- Turn AutoTrading on. The AutoTrading button in the toolbar has to be green.
Nothing shows up?
- Check the smiling face in the top right corner of the chart. A sad face means live trading is still switched off.
- Open the Experts and Journal tabs in the Terminal window — the dashboard logs there what it is doing.
- Make sure the file landed in
MQL4\Expertsand not inMQL4\Indicators.
Changing the settings
Right-click the chart, choose Expert Advisors → Properties and open the Inputs tab. The list of timeframes, colours and alert options live there. The parameters shared by all dashboards are described on the tools page.
